Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette - Worth The hype?

The first time Too Faced released the sweet peach palette last spring, I honestly did not expect the hype and popularity it had. I also did not think it would actually smell like peaches, or if it did that it would smell like gross fake peachiness. Oh was I wrong. This palette smells amazing (pretty much like someone threw a ton of peaches at my face) and was long sold out by the time I got around to buying it. When I heard it would be re-released late last year, I knew that I had to get it. The day it was restocked I woke up early, pulled up the Sephora website, purchased it, and then went back to sleep.

As soon as this palette arrived at my door, I started playing with it and have barely put it down since. Not only can I not stop smelling it everytime I open it up, but the shades are so pretty that it makes me just want to sit there and stare at it. The shades are very pigmented and blendable. The colours (Yes, I’m Canadian and spell colour with a U) are stunningly gorgeous and a great mix of peach shades, everyday neutrals, and some random pops of unique shades that normally are not easy to find (Candied Peach, Delectable, Talk Derby To Me, and Bless Her Heart). I’m actually happy that this palette has a shimmery black shadow instead of a matte black one. It seems that almost every palette has a matte black shade and it’s nice to see a change. This palette is so unique and is amazing for travelling because you can create so many looks with it and it doesn’t take up a ton of space.
Some of my top choices from this palette are Bellini, Peach Pit, Candied Peach, Charmed I’m Sure, and Luscious. I swatched all the shades in the palette below (we can ignore how awful they are, I’m still bad at swatching and have short arms).

Yes, I know I’m SO behind on reviewing this palette but I can honestly say it’s amazing, worth the hype, worth the money, and if you don’t already have it I would say go run (do not walk, RUN) and go pick it up before it’s out of stock again. I have so many eyeshadow palettes and this one quickly moved up to one of my all time favourites.
