I try out so much makeup/beauty products that sometimes it's hard to find some that really stand out, but these are the products that I really became obsessed with in February that have quickly made their way into my everyday routine!

TARTE TARTEIST PRO GLOW HIGHLIGHT KIT
Tarte highlights are one of my all time favourites and I finally got around to getting this highlight/contour palette and I quickly became obsessed and have used it pretty much every day this month. The highlights are gorgeous and the powder contour shade works amazingly for me on days I just want a very subtle contour. I haven’t used the cream contour shade because it is a little too dark for me right now but will be amazing when/if I have a tan. For the highlights my two main obsessions are lit and stunner. Fire is a little too dark for me right now but will be gorgeous if I ever get a tan. These highlights are perfect because you can put on a small layer for a subtle glow or add more to have a glow that can basically be seen from space.

COLOURPOP BIJOU AND TINY CHUM ULTRA SATIN LIP
I’m a huge fan of the Ultra Satin Lip formula from ColourPop and these two shades are ones I kept reaching for all month and I had so many compliments on my lip colour when I was wearing either one. Tiny Chum was part of the Hello Kitty collection (which I think they have for 20% off right now) and if you are still able to get it I would highly recommend it. It is such a great nude everyday colour (lets be real, you can never have too many lipsticks like that) and it lasts forever without being very drying which is great because then my mouth isn’t dried out and painful. Bijou was part of their winter collection and I’m not sure if you can still get your hands on it but would also highly recommend it if you can. It’s more of a darker purple shade but isn’t too dark that it’s a vampy purple lip and it’s amazing and would be a great year-round shade when you want more of a noticeable lip colour.

BUXOM LIP LINERS WHITE RUSSIAN AND DOLLY DANGER
I’m starting to get more into using lip liners and these are the best ones I have ever tried by far. They last on my lips forever and don’t dry out my lips at all which for my is pretty much unheard of for a lip liner. These are also so pigmented and not patchy at all so most of the time I wear them (especially Dolly Danger) I just wear them by themselves and they stay on my lips for so long. The pencils themselves aren’t the typical thin lip liner, they are very thick which makes it so easy to fully fill in your lips. These are also amazing because they don’t wear onto my teeth at all or bleed onto the rest of my face. I’m obsessed with the White Russian lip gloss by buxom and that combined with the White Russian lip liner looks amazing and is the perfect nude-pink. Dolly Danger is more of a berry-mauve shade and I love wearing it when I want a very toned down lip shade but still with some colour to it. These also have a brush on one end which you can use to blend lip colours and even create an ombre lip with, I haven’t used the brush yet but it feels very soft and I can’t wait to test it out. Literally every time I have worn either of these shades I have had so many compliments about my lip colour and now I want to go out and buy all of the colours.

CLINIQUE MELON POP
I’ve heard so much hype around the cheek pop blushes from Clinique (especially for this shade) and I can honestly say it is so worth the hype and after trying this one I want to go out and buy all of them. This is the most amazing and perfect peach-toned blush I have ever used and works with so many different makeup looks (looks amazing with most looks from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette). Not only is the colour of this blush absolutely gorgeous, but I find that it lasts all day and I can still see it on my skin after wearing it for hours and hours. So many blushes just seem to disappear after a few hours so finding one that doesn’t is amazing and so refreshing. As you can see in this very awkward swatch, it's not a very intense colour which makes it amazing for everyday and you can use it with such a heavy hand and it will never look too intense.

FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR CREAM
I got a sample of this cream from some ipsy points and having the oily skin that I do, I decided to use it as a hand lotion (since it says it’s meant for anywhere on the body anyway) and oh my it is amazing. My hands get super dry during the winter and I find it really hard to find a cream that not only moisturizes my skin but doesn’t feel all gross on my hands while it sinks in. Not only does this not feel like a nasty think and oily lotion for what feels like years, my hands actually feel better for a long time and I don’t need to constantly be using more. It also feels really soothing and helps the irritation that comes along with my dry hands. This stuff is amazing and I became instantly obsessed with it. It doesn’t really have a scent, just smells like the typical “unscented” type of scent found in a lot of lotions and I love that because it doesn’t interfere with any perfume that I’m wearing. I’m about halfway done this sample size and I’ve already purchased the largest size of this that I could find from Sephora. I haven’t used this anywhere else on my body yet but I think if you have very dry skin on your face it would be amazing or anywhere else that is very dry and just needs that extra boost of moisture.
