So I know I haven't posted anything since my last monthly faves, but I've been super busy and I promise to actually start posting more than once a month! I didn't try that many new products in April that really wowed me to be honest so I only have 4 faves, but these ones are super stand out products that I think will be staples for me for a long time.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick

The first time I used this product, my skin was pretty oily and this stick instantly mattified my skin. It also made the giant pores I have around my nose seem so much smaller and it stayed like that all day. I use this stick before I put on primer just to give it a better base to stick to and really mattify my skin. Even from the first use, I was very impressed with this stick. It also is huge and I feel like it’s going to take me so long to use up. It’s very similar t
o the Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick. To be honest, both act the exact same on my skin but you get way more product with this Milk Makeup one so I would probably recommend it over the Estee Edit one. If you have pores that you want to appear smaller or have areas on your face that get extra oily, use this over them and it will help your makeup go on so much smoother and really mattify your face and shrink the appearance of your pores. $43 CAD at Sephora.
Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Dissolving Spray

I cannot get over how amazingly this product works. You can spray it on a cotton pad or your hands then gently rub it all over your face and everything will come off so fast. Or you can do it the way I have been and just spray it all over your face then grab a cleansing wipe, gently rub over your face, and have a perfectly makeup-free face. I’m not even slightly kidding when I say that this product gets rid of every trace of makeup. Even from the first time I used this, I was speechless. I always have problems with still having makeup residue on my face even after I’ve “removed it all” with eye makeup remover, face wipes, micellar water, washing my face, and all that time stuff but this takes it all off, even every trace of mascara. It does feel a little oily on the skin (even though it says it's oil-free) and I do find that it leaves a bit of a residue on my face but it's all gone once I wash my face afterwards. I’m incredibly impressed and will 100% be repurchasing this when I run out. This is the only product I've tried from Urban Decay's new skincare/makeup removal line but I can't wait to try more and see if they live up to the high standards I now have from this spray. $32 CAD at Sephora.
NARS Blush in Bumpy Ride

This has been my go to blush since the beginning of April when I got it and it’s the perfect coral shade for everyday spring/summer time. I had no problems with this blush coming off at all during the day and it isn’t overly pigmented that I get weird coral clown cheeks. NARS blushes in general are amazing and one of my top favourites, and this shade is one that I would highly recommend picking up, especially for this time of year. It looks like a natural flush of colour to the cheeks and I feel like it would work amazingly for almost any skin tone. NARS blushes are a bit up there in price, but they last forever (I've never fully used one up or even come close and I use them so often) and I think they are completely worth the money. $38 CAD at Sephora.

Kat Von D Lock-it Foundation

Okay. This foundation covers literally anything. Not even joking. I had a few giant bright red zits this month and this foundation (without any concealer) covered them flawlessly. It also covered my intense under-eye circles. Somehow I was even able to find this in a shade that matches my very fair skin tone without making me look like an oompa-loompa. I have it in the shade Light Cool 44 and it works perfectly for me. I would suggest finding someone who works at Sephora to colour match you for this foundation because the shade I had originally picked thinking it was perfect for me ended up being way too dark and orange. On any day I need more than medium-coverage, I reach for this foundation. It is a very full-coverage foundation and lasts all day without looking cakey on me. Overall, I cannot recommend this foundation if you love full-coverage foundations or even need just a bit of extra coverage. The shade range is huge which is also a huge bonus. $42 CAD at Sephora.
