Wet N Wild products are pretty much only available in Wal-Mart in Canada so it took me a very long time to be able to actually find this product in stock in my shade, but I’m so happy that I finally did. There has been so much hype around this foundation since it came out and people rave about it, so I knew I had to try it. Not only is this foundation super affordable, but it’s supposed to have great coverage and look amazing in any picture.
The paddle applicator of this foundation is a part of it that I actually really like, I can easily put some of it onto my face and then blend with either a sponge or a brush (my fave brush to use this with has been the Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki brush). I found that one layer of this foundation gave me light coverage (which is honestly not enough for me) but with adding another layer, it gave me almost the amount of full coverage that I wanted while still not looking cakey. The foundation looks AMAZING on my skin. I wore it every day for 1-2 weeks just to test it out under different situations and of course had to test out the claims that it’s perfect for photography by taking a bunch of selfies.

This foundation is completely amazing for photos. I’ve never used one that makes my skin look so good in pictures while also looking good in real life. For the first few hours of wearing this foundation, my skin looked honestly amazing. It had enough coverage for days I didn’t need a lot and didn’t look shiny at all in pictures. This foundation was great for the first 3-4 hours, but my skin is very oily and after that my skin started to look so shiny and I could feel the foundation melting off, especially around my nose and my chin. I even tried it with so many different primers and setting sprays and it still wouldn’t last very long.
Overall, I would recommend this foundation if you have normal skin or just want a few hours wear out of it but if you have very oily skin, it’s not the best for long-wear. It is very affordable which is also a huge bonus. Wet N Wild isn’t easy to find in Canada so if you can find this on Wal-Mart or Amazon and they have it in your shade, go for it. $7.99 CAD https://well.ca/products/wet-n-wild-photofocus-foundation_127377.html
